I think that the character in the book The Blind Side is worthy of praise. I think that because of all he has been through in his life. He had to go through his childhood with a mother that was addicted to crack. He really didn’t have a steady place to stay he was always on the move. He didn’t know anything about himself such as his name, father, or his birthday. He doesn’t even know how to read or write. He doesn’t know anything about himself. When he finally gets someone to actually look over him he has some courage now. He moves in with a family that’s not even his race and becomes part of their family. He grows to be a big star football player and also grows to know himself. I believe he is worthy of criticism becase he grows to be something and he is a person that came from nothing.
Interesting observations, Ashley. How is the novel different than the film so far?
